Operations

The Operations Team manages fundraising and logistics for all three sub-teams. Each operations team member is taught the fundamentals of finance, marketing and customer relationship management throughout the member’s experience.

Operations works to secure partnerships and long-term sponsorships alike, and work to improve our connections to industry. As well, the team strives to grow UVA Solar Car as a whole through outreach and direct involvement in the Charlottesville community.

Marketing

The subteam handles social events, external outreach, alumni connections, and social media promotion to strengthen the team’s network and public profile.

Sponsorship

The subteam is responsible for grant writing, managing team finances, coordinating logistics, and conducting sponsorship outreach to secure funding and resources.
